St Mary’s Primary School
St. Mary’s School is a small rural School at Boyup Brook with a vibrant and involved community, a random development of School buildings with limited resources and no ‘Entry’ or cohesive presence to the Street. Like many rural Schools, it is abutting the Parish Church. The School community wanted to stretch their BER funding to provide a new Library and technology centre for the School as well as upgrade the tiny Administration area and provide a ‘School Entry’. With support of community members who provided support and ‘in kind’ assistance to achieve the brief , and the resulting Entry/ Administration area and Library/technology centre has provided the School with the latest teaching facilities in a comfortable environment. The School has a face and a heart that reflect its community’s achievement.
