Fratelle were engaged by the City of Armadale to provide architectural design services for the development of the area of Piara Oval South including the design and documentation for a community facility (pavilion), change rooms, community hall, children’s activity rooms, playing fields, play grounds, car park and surrounding landscaping.
The scope of work included master planning, design and development of a new Community & Sports facility including change rooms, activity rooms, club rooms, community hall, multi-purpose area as well as external spaces opening onto a new sports oval at Piara Waters South Reserve. The design provided a new and contemporary aesthetic for the whole building, and external spaces to sports oval and users for the building, as well as ensure the building meets current BCA compliance.
The Piara Waters (South) playing fields and pavilion provided an opportunity to strengthen connection within the community, creation of a meeting place that is used both in and out of school hours and provides the City with a valuable new sporting asset that provides another amenity to the City to assist in meeting their strategic plan.
